Welcome to the landing page dedicated to our end of first year programming fundamentals project. We are Fabien and Yoann, students at Holberton School in Toulouse, France.
Our project is driven by our shared passion for video games. As lifelong gamers, creating our own game has always been a dream. This project not only fulfills that dream but also aligns with our goal of specializing in AR/VR technologies at Holberton School. By developing a game, we're not just indulging our passion but also gaining crucial experience in Unity, paving the way for our future endeavors.
This project marks a pivotal point in our learning journey, validating the knowledge we've acquired in our first year before advancing further in our education.
We are proud to present
Holberton Survivors!
A game inspired by the famous one: Vampire
Survivors.
Completed in two months, one dedicated to project preparation and other one of intensive coding.
One of the major challenges of this project was our lack of prior experience in C# and our introduction to the Unity software. We had to learn these technologies on the fly, applying them directly to our project. Thanks to the methodology taught at Holberton School, which prepared us well to tackle this challenge.
Despite the obstacles encountered, we are proud of the outcome we have achieved. This game is the result
of our determination, passion, and willingness to learn.
We also invite those who would like more information to visit the project's GitHub page.
A heartfelt thank you to all contributors who provided freely licensed graphics and music for our project. Your generosity has truly enhanced our work, bringing our vision to life.
